Forty Years of Getting It Right

Dũng started working on engines before most of our customers were born.
Not in a classroom. Not reading manuals. On the floor, hands in grease, figuring out why a diesel wouldn't start at 4am when a fishing crew needed to be offshore by dawn. That was the job. That is still the job.

Over four decades, he has seen every engine type, every failure mode, every corner-cut that comes back to bite someone later. That knowledge doesn't come from a certificate on a wall. It comes from being wrong once — and making sure it never happens again.

How We Actually Work

PinkSun sells used engines and spare parts. Wide variety — marine diesels, generators, industrial units. If it has moving parts and burns fuel, we've likely handled it, sourced it, or fixed one like it.
But here's what we don't do: we don't move volume for the sake of moving volume.
Every part that leaves here has been looked at by people who know what they're looking at. Our team is educated, technically sharp, and stubborn about quality in a way that occasionally makes the business slower than it could be. We're okay with that. A bad sale costs us everything we've spent years building. A good one costs us nothing.

Why Customers Come Back

We've never run an ad campaign. We've never had a marketing budget.
For over twenty years, almost every customer found us the same way — someone they trusted told them about us. A fellow fisherman. A workshop foreman. A boat owner three provinces away who said:

"Call PinkSun. They'll tell you straight."*

That's the business we built, and it's the business we intend to keep.
A customer once told us something we haven't forgotten:

That kind of trust isn't bought. It's earned, one job at a time, over decades.
When you call us, you'll get an honest answer. If the part you need isn't right for your application, we'll tell you. If we don't have what you need, we'll tell you that too. We don't oversell and we don't disappear after the transaction.

What We Believe

Quality isn't a value we display on a banner. It's the reason we're still here.
The used engine market runs on trust. Any supplier can make a sale once. What keeps a customer calling back — what makes them give your number to their friends — is the confidence that you checked, that you know what you're talking about, and that what you said would work actually worked.
We check.
We know what we're talking about.
And when it works — and it does — that's how the next customer finds us.

We're not the loudest name in the market. We don't need to be.
